The Government requires that pupil attainment is collected at:

The end of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) - the summer of Reception
End of Year 1 - Phonics Screening Check
End of Key Stage 1 (KS1) - Summer of Year 2
End of Key Stage 2 (KS2) - Summer of Year 6

The government will not publish KS2 school level data for the 2021 to 2022 academic year. They have archived data from the 2018 to 2019 academic year because they recognise that the data from that year may no longer reflect current performance.

We are pleased with the outcomes achieved by our pupils in 2026. Children made a strong start to their education, with 76% of Reception aged pupils achieving a Good Level of Development, a significant improvement on the previous year. This is above the Government's 2028 target. Phonics outcomes were also particularly strong, with 86% of Year 1 pupils meeting the expected standard and 93% by the end of Year 2, both above national figures.

At the end of Key Stage 2, pupils achieved particularly well in reading and mathematics, with 84% reaching the expected standard in reading and 82% in mathematics, both above national outcomes. The proportion achieving the combined expected standard in reading, writing and mathematics was also above the national figure.

These outcomes are particularly encouraging within the context of our inclusive school community. We remain ambitious for every child and will continue to build on these strengths, while focusing carefully on those areas where outcomes can be strengthened further.
